#1. Poetry:

Write a series of four poems about you and your world. They can be any style (think back to the poetry unit – haiku, cinquain, sonnet, free verse, etc.), but they should all be focused on who you are or how you see the world. There’s no minimum or maximum number of lines or words, just however many you feel you need to write to make your point.

#2. Freewrite: (one page freewrite)

Describe what makes a building or place a “home” to you (your house, town, neighborhood, etc.).
