I want to welcome the 7th grade students to Team Fortitude for the 2023-2024 school year. All work will be posted on Google Classroom this year.    

Facts about Mr. Carter:

-I love teaching science. 

-28th year teaching, 24nd  year at WM. Diamond Middle.

-Been teaching at Diamond Middle School since the year 2000

-I played soccer, hockey, baseball, golf, and tennis as a kid.  Still golf.

-I love to fish, especially down on Cape Cod 

-I have 3 kids: Katherine(age 19), Maggie(age 17) and PJ(age 10)

-I have driven cross country twice from Massachusetts to California and back visiting many state and national parks. Joshua Tree, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Escalante, Rocky Mt., Arches, and many more. 

-I climbed the highest Mountain in Texas, Mt. Gaudalupe (8,751')

-I hiked 9 miles to the Colorado River and 9 miles back in one day from the Southern Rim of the Grand Canyon. 

-I have 13 chickens.

Dividers or plastic folders, Try to find 3 hole punched ones with pockets on both sides for homework/handouts. 

1 extra or ultra tip Sharpie permanent Markers 

A pair of cheap earbuds/headphones (Keep in binder or science classroom)
