Have you ever been to the doctor for an injury? Well over 156 girls who trusted their doctor to help them prepare for upcoming practices, competitions, and everyday life were being sexually abused. Today we are going to break down a CNN article that goes into detail about the Larry Nassar Scandal. We will address each paragraph and its significance, while hitting main points along the way. I will also pinpoint different appeals to help you truly understand the emotions, and points behind this article. I cited some important quotes from the article to better explain and provide evidence. I go through three main topics throughout the podcast which are, The trial itself, the testimonies of the survivors, and the final verdicts. I go into depth with each topic, and provide quotes in each area to help provide more appeals and evidence. During the podcast I incorporate some names that help bring the scandal into more light, and cause my audience to become familiar with who this is addressing. This is a very touchy subject but one that needs to be addressed because it has been happening for years with no consequence. This is a problem we face in society that we need to speak up about. This could be a very interesting discussion so please leave comments, and thoughts. Every response would be helpful to having a discussion. Please make sure to tune in to the podcast and share all your thoughts.
