Carolina De La Rosa Mateo (she/her) is a research associate at HACER, a nonprofit based in St. Paul, MN that works with and for the Latinx community to generate culturally relevant research and evaluation. Carolina graduated from the University of Minnesota with a master's in Public Health, with a focus on Community Health Promotion. She is passionate about evaluation, health equity, disability advocacy, and actively working on being an anti-racist. She is one of the five co-founders of the Minnesota IBPOC in Evaluation Community of Praxis, which convenes BIPOC evaluators in Minnesota to network, share resources, and think through how we can dismantle racism in evaluation. When she’s not working, Carolina can be found rehearsing with her afro-latin dance team or looking for the best cheese curds in town.
