Sydney is the Registry Project Manager at the Minnesota CHW Alliance. She is a candidate for a master's in Public Health, Public Health Policy and Administration (PHAP). She intends to graduate in May of 2021. During her master's degree education, she has worked for the State of Minnesota Health Department in Family Home Visiting Evaluation and for SHADAC at the University of Minnesota. Sydney previously graduated from the University of Iowa with dual degrees in Health and Human Physiology: Health Promotion, BA and Engaged Social Innovation, BA with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management. Her thesis was in breastfeeding acceptability and was a self-led, quasi-experimental study of a breastfeeding intervention on college-aged students, sponsored by the Behavioral Medicine Laboratory at the University of Iowa. Post-graduation, Sydney ran a food pantry that served approximately 1000 households a week with food and basic needs.
Adri Lobitz is working as the Registry Manager for the Minnesota CHW Alliance (MNCHWA). She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in 2019. Adri will pursue a Master of Public Health in Community Health Promotion from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities beginning in Fall 2021 and hopes to work in the future on health equity and ensuring access to proper healthcare for all communities. Through working with MNCHWA she has come to realize the necessary role CHWs play in quality of care for many individuals and hopes to see the role continue to grow across the state.
