This website is IN PROGRESS! Most pages will NOT be finished!
Each pencil is dedicated for a specific task. For example, there are pencils dedicated to writing for long periods of time with comfortable grips, or pencils that are “tanks,” that are very durable and can withstand anything you throw at them.
With a lot of pencils available, it's important to find ones that align with your requirements. Think of it like selecting the right tool for different tasks! You wouldn't use a wrench for hammering down a nail, and so choosing the right pencil also involves considering the specific demands of your writing or drawing tasks. Of course, you aren’t going to be ONLY doing one task, so you’re going to want multiple of each!
Here are some examples:
A “standard” pencil that you use to jot down quick notes or paragraphs, or simple sketches.
A pencil dedicated for long writing sessions that may come with soft and comfortable grips designed for writing for extended periods of time.
A pencil that uses precise tips and/or thin leads for math and graphing.
A pocketable pencil you can carry everywhere.
Out of these four, you’ll tend to have a main pencil. Some people may write long essays a lot and their main pencil would be their comfort pencil, and some people could be draftsmen or architects who need precise tips, using those pencils the most. Since you'll spend most of your time using that pencil, you'll need to start considering budget. You need to pick a general budget for all the pencils you're going to buy, and you NEED to keep in mind that you probably should be spending the MOST on the pencil you'll use a lot, and the LEAST for the pencils you won't use a lot.
