Select Type for Pocket Corners
Dado Options (Corners)
When processing dados we must account for the diameter of the bit. In Mozaik, you have thee options:
Run Past - This dado will be milled 1/2 the diameter of the tool longer that the specified dado.
T Bone - This dado will use a smaller tool to square off the end of the dado. It will be milled the exact length of the dado but there will be small curves showing above and below the dado.
Dog Bone - This dado will again use a smaller tool to remove the corners of the dado.
The advantage of the T Bone and Dog Bone dados, you have 4 captive edges. The disadvantage, they require more machining time and precision.
Dado pockets also use the ramp settings from the Profile Properties.
