Click the Part 3D Position to modify the rotation and position of a part in 3D space.
Remember, parts are machined FACE DOWN. Z-Axis is up in the opposite direction.
Enter the Position using the Equation Editor. Remember to type a static number in metric or use the tomm converter.
Use the Part Face Faces selections to determine the primary rotation of the part - for example a toe faces front.
Add additional Rotations only if necessary.
.
Click the Instant Help button for more explanation on rotations.
Click the Browse button to use a sketchup model as the graphic representation of the part.
Remember, Mozaik parts are based on material thickness, When using Sketchup Parts you must specify the depth of the Sketchup Part (typically thickness).
Layers determines which layer the part will be grouped with in Sketchup. (Remember - in Sketchup you can use layers to turn off doors, ends, etc...)
Enter the radius amount to radius a part. To radius the part along the grain direction of the part - check the Radius along Grain option.
For example:
A Top Rail would be radius along the grain.
A radius corner filler would not.
