Malaysia Ocean Youth Ambassadors

Selection criteria:

• Malaysian, must be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

• Aged 18 - 26 years

• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Leadership/volunteering experience is not necessary but encouraged

• Preferably with access to internet (most workshops will be conducted virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions and until further notice)
  

Compulsory requirements:

• Must be able to commit to a once-a-month workshop*

• Passionate about the environment and climate change!

• Team-player and committed - only serious applicants are encouraged to apply

*In the event an Ambassador is unable to attend a workshop/event/activity, he/she must inform the organizer in writing/via e-mail. After 3 consecutive no-shows, the Ambassador will be dropped from the programme.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The health and safety of participants, communities and facilitators are our top-most priorities. In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic, all activities and projects will be organized under strict SOP in line with the Government’s guidelines. If necessary, workshops will be held virtually or postponed until the next suitable date. Stay safe!
