The Malaysia Ocean Youth Ambassadors (MOYA) programme is a chance for young, passionate Malaysians (based in Sabah) between the ages of 18-26 to tell their stories through creative platforms and harness leadership skills as future change-makers in climate action through activities and projects focusing on coastal and marine issues. Build knowledge on climate change through a series of (virtual and real-time) workshops and network with like-minded youth in Malaysia and around the world
Meet, learn from and work with leading experts, conservationists, youth leaders, filmmakers, policy-makers and coastal communities
Harness the power of storytelling through our Creative Storytelling Workshops. Learn from professional filmmakers, content creators, photographers and journalists on how you can tell your Climate Stories on the creative platform of your choice.
Pitch your own Project: Do you have an innovative solution to climate change? Let us hear it! You might be the recipient of a seed grant to kick start that passion project.
Stand a chance to attend and participate in local and national level youth and environmental conferences, seminars and conventions; Act locally, think globally!
