Ferromolybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron used as an additive in steelmaking. Its primary application is to add molybdenum to steel, resulting in a more uniform grain structure, improved workability, and reduced heat-treated brittleness. In high-speed steel, molybdenum can partially replace tungsten. Molybdenum is widely used in the production of stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel, and tool steel, as well as in alloys with special physical properties. Adding molybdenum to cast iron can increase its strength and wear resistance.
Molybdenum Oxide is the product of desulfurization of Molybdenum Concentrate by oxidation roasting, and its main component is Molybdenum Trioxide. Molybdenum Oxide is used as raw material for preparing Ferro Molybdenum and Molybdenum Compounds, and can also be directly added to molybdenum alloy as an additive of molybdenum element to improve the properties of the alloy.
Sodium sulfite, an inorganic substance with chemical formula Na2SO3, is a sulfite, which is soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. Insoluble in liquid chlorine and ammonia. It is mainly used as artificial fiber stabilizer, fabric bleaching agent, photographic developer, dye bleaching deoxidizer, perfume and dye reducing agent, papermaking lignin removing agent, etc. Product implementation standard HG/T2967-2010.
