MovexLabs ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") operates the Morsy mobile application (the "App"), which helps users learn Morse code and use it in practical ways, including flashlight signaling and sound-based transmission. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Morsy.

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

Morsy is developed and published by MovexLabs, based in India. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App worldwide, including users in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, and the State of California, USA.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form), or, if you choose to sign up using Google Sign-In, we receive your basic Google profile information (name, email address, and profile picture, if available) as authorized by you.

• Subscription Information: If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed through Apple's App Store, Google Play Store, or our subscription management partner, RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details — these are handled by Apple, Google, or their payment processors.

• Communications: If you email us (e.g., for support or to request account/data deletion), we collect the content of your message and your email address.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as lessons completed, practice session activity, feature usage (e.g., flashlight or sound transmission tools), and in-app preferences.

• Device Information: Device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, language settings, and general diagnostic/crash data.

• Subscription and Entitlement Data: RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, collects data necessary to manage and validate your subscription status, including purchase history, subscription tier, and renewal status.

• Advertising Data: If you use the free version of the App, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as advertising IDs), IP address, and other information to serve and measure ads, and may use this data to personalize ads based on your interests, subject to your device's ad tracking permissions and settings.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not knowingly collect precise real-time location data, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera recordings. Note: the flashlight and sound features of the App operate locally on your device to control hardware (flashlight/speaker) and do not record, transmit, or store audio or camera data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account

• Authenticate you via email/password or Google Sign-In

• Process and manage your subscription through RevenueCat

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and content

• Sync your learning progress across sessions/devices

• Display advertisements through AdMob (free-tier users)

• Respond to your support requests and communications

• Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the App

• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse

• Comply with legal obligations

4. How We Store Your Information

Your account data (including name, email, hashed password, and learning progress) is stored using Neon (Neon Postgres), a cloud-based database provider. Data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the App's services. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax or accounting records related to subscriptions).

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party service providers, each of which processes certain data on our behalf or in connection with the App. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we currently do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

6. No Sale of Personal Data

MovexLabs does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party, as of the date of this policy. If this practice ever changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, obtain your prior consent or provide you the ability to opt out.

7. Advertising and Your Choices

If you use the free, ad-supported version of the App:

• You may see personalized ads based on your advertising identifier and app usage, delivered via Google AdMob.

• You can limit ad personalization by adjusting your device's ad settings (e.g., "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).

• You can remove ads entirely by subscribing to a paid plan.

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 If You Are in the European Economic Area (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data

• Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten")

8.3 All Other Users

9. How to Delete Your Account or Data

Currently, account and data deletion requests must be submitted by email. To request deletion:

2. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

3. We will verify your request and delete your account data (name, email, password hash, and learning progress) from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain certain records (e.g., subscription/billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Note: Deleting your Morsy account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

10. Children's Privacy

Morsy is not directed at or intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in certain EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. 11. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption of passwords, secure database hosting through Neon, and secure authentication via Google Sign-In. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Data Transfers

MovexLabs is based in India. Because our service providers (including Neon, Google, and RevenueCat) may operate servers in various countries, your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and other jurisdictions. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons.
