Flying to Prague

When flying to the Czech Republic, you will probably arrive at the Václav Havel Airport in Prague (red mark in the map). To get to Pilsen, which will take you in total about two to three hours, you can take either a coach or a train.

From the airport bus line nr. 100 will take you to the Bus Station Praha-Zlicin (yellow mark, pronounced as "Zli-cheen"). Regular Prague public transport fare of 32 CZK applies here, tickets can be bought using ticket machines, which accept Czech Crown coins, or via a text message from your phone. At Zlicin, you can take either a coach to Pilsen (booking in advance highly recommended) or continue by subway (in Prague it is called Metro) line B to the Main Train Station Prague (blue mark). Trains to Pilsen depart from there. An airport shuttle bus offering direct transport between the Airport and the Main Train Station is also available (tickets are purchased directly from the driver).
