Education

  • 2009: Ph.D. Computer science, control theory and signal processing. Science University of Montpellier (France).

  • 2006: M.Sc. Robotics and Automatic control. Science University of Montpellier (France).

  • 2005: M.Sc. Systems, Control and diagnostics. Aix-Marseille-III University (France).

  • 2004: M.Sc. Cognitive Science. Polytechnic National Institute of Grenoble, France (INPG).

  • 2001: B.S. Electronics engineering (process control). Sciences and Technology University of Oran, Algeria (USTO-MB)

Research experience

  1. Since Sep. 2014: Associate professor, I am working as Associate professor at The Production Engineering Laboratory (LGP) and National School of Engineering in Tarbes (ENIT) of Toulouse INP. My main research are about Human-robot collaboration and physical interaction.

  2. Dec. 2013-Jul. 2014: Postdoctoral researcher; I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Montpellier Laboratory of Informatics Robotics and Microelectronics (LIRMM), in DEMAR group of INRIA. My work aims the reconstruction of the 3D movement of lower limbs using Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) systems for the drop-foot correction by electrical stimulation in hemiplegic patients, with Christine Azevedo-Coste (INRIA Research Director).

  3. Jan. 2012-Jan. 2013: Postdoctoral researcher; I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Heidelberg, in Optimization in Robotics and Optimization (ORB) group, with Pr. Katja Mombaur. My work concerns the application of nonlinear model predictive control of electrical stimulation and using inertial sensors, for the drop-foot correction in hemiplegic patients.

  4. Nov. 2010-Nov. 2011: JSPS postdoctoral fellow for 24 months; I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Tokyo, at Nakamura-Takano Lab., with Pr. Yoshihiko Nakamura. My works concerned the physiological musculoskeletal modeling for the estimation of the muscle forces based on the motion capture analysis and the EMG measurements.

  5. Sep. 2009-Aug. 2010: Temporary lecturer; at University of Montpellier 2 and in LIRMM laboratory. I have collaborated in a project about the assisted sit-to-stand transfer in paraplegic subjects using functional electrical stimulation, with Dr. Christine Azevedo-Coste.
