Vasota Fort is an ancient hill fort situated at an altitude of 1171 meters near Bamnoli in Satara district. The fort is situated in the deep forests and valleys of the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary. The Shivsagar Lake is on three sides of the Vasota Fort, which is on the lake's edge
