Itinerary

Train Itinerary

• Day 1:

1. Mumbai: People joining from Mumbai will take Deccan Queen to Pune railway station

2. Pune: Pune people will directly reach Pune station at 3.00 pm

3. 03:00 pm: Meet the MOUNTTREK Team at Pune Railway station

4. 04:00 pm: We will be catching the Goa Express

5. Overnight Journey toward Dudhsagar.

• Day 2

1. 04:00 am: Reach Kulem Station

2. 05:00 am: Start Trekking from Kulem toward Dudhsagar Waterfall through Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary Jungle (3 Hours Easy Trek through Jungle crossing Multiple Water Streams)

3. 10:00 am: Reach Dudhsagar Base, Fun time near Waterfall

4. 11:00 am: Packed Breakfast

5. 11:30 am: Start our return journey to Kulem

6. 02:00 pm: Reach Kulem Guest House

7. 03:30 pm - 04:45 pm: Reach Station and board Goa Express

• Day 3

1. 4.00 am: Reach Pune with loads of memories

2. Mumbai people will board the immediate next train from Pune to Mumbai in the morning

People booking a one-way train can take a local from Kulem at 5.20 pm to Madgaon and a bus back to Pune and Mumbai from Madgaon due to limited availability of return tickets

Note: MOUNTTREK will try its best to get you a confirmed or a RAC(2 PEOPLE ON ONE SLEEPER SEAT) seat as per your booking dates.

However, no one can guarantee a confirmed ticket always and there are chances of your ticket being in RAC for which mounttrek is not liable as IRCTC manages the railway tickets

If you have concerns over train tickets you can book the tour from Kulem to Kulem and book your tickets online from any IRCTC portal like Makemytrip.

In case the tickets are made from our side and are on the waiting list even after the preparation of the train chart you can take a free date shift of the event. If the tickets move to RAC or confirmed state you will need to join the event as planned.A refund is not possible in any case and only event shift is available . Incase you would like to go for a refund cancellation charges as per policies.

Train Details

• The early you book shall you get a full seat to travel

• We always try procuring a confirmed seat to travel however since there is only train to Dudhsagar you may also get a RAC(One seat shared by two people) seat depending upon your time of booking 

• No complaints regarding seat confirmations will be entertained at any cost

Cancellation Policy

• Incase the trip is canceled by mounttrek due to bad weather conditions or any unavoidable situation from the start point Pune train cancellation charges as per IRCTC will be applicable along with payment gateway charges of 2.3% and the booking portal charges of 80 per booking.

• Incase the trek has to be called off due to bad weather conditions or unavoidable situations after boarding the train no refund of any kind will be applicable

• Incase you plan to cancel the trip cancellation policy as on cancellation page will be applicable.

 Disclamer and Medical Fitness Form

• Dudhsagar trek is an easy difficulty but a high endurance trek that needs extensive walking

• Make sure you are medically fit and have a duly signed copy of the medical fitness and disclaimer form available with you 

IRCTC Rules

• We use intelligent AI-based tools like Confirmticket to predict the confirmation probability of your ticket

• Tickets are made based on the maximum confirmation probability and solely depend on the remaining days for your departure

• However, it is essential to note that the tool does not guarantee a 100% confirmation guarantee for waitlisted and RAC tickets every time and mounntrek does not hold any control to confirm tickets every time.

• There might always be a chance that you get a RAC(half seat) ticket instead of a confirmed seat and mounttrek is not responsible for not providing confirmed tickets since IRCTC is a govt body and we do not hold any control over that.

• Also, there might arise a chance that our predictability tool may fail and you may get a RAC seat once the chart is prepared. Kindly note that mounttrek won't be responsible for providing full seats in such a situation nor refunding any amount since it is a govt transport and not private.

• Trains like GOA EXPRESS do not have alternate train options and hence no up-gradation is possible
