Mt. Rainier Composite Squadron is lucky to host meetings in our own building located on Pierce County Airport, Thun Field

Thank you for visiting the website of Mount Rainier Composite Squadron, a member of the Washington Wing of Civil Air Patrol. Mt. Rainier Squadron has served the community for over thirty years and boasts active senior and cadet programs.

Based out of Pierce County Airport, Thun Field in Puyallup, Washington, Mt. Rainier Squadron provides vital services to the greater community, state, and nation by executing the three missions of CAP; emergency services, cadet programs, and aerospace education.

Our cadet programs provide leadership training to roughly 35 young adults between the ages of 12-21. Through internal and external aviation education programs we ensure members of our community and squadron have access to the latest information in the aviation industry.

Through the dedication and efforts of its senior and cadet members, Mt. Rainier Squadron cares for a compliment of resources to aid in its missions. Our building, built by the charter members and owned by the current membership, is located on Thun Field, a primary mission base in Washington State.

If you'd like to join the fun or find out more, feel free to "Contact Us" or come by to one of our meetings.
