Most participants will be accommodated at Thon Hotel Opera and Thon Hotel Ullevaal Stadion. Both hotels offer check-in from 15:00 and check-out before 12:00.

Directions:

From Oslo Airport (Gardermoen) to Oslo, we recommend taking the express train (Flytoget) to Oslo Sentralstasjon. It departs every 20 minutes and takes 22 minutes. A regular ticket costs 210 NOK. Another option is to take one of the regional trains (R10 towards Drammen, R11 towards Skien, L12 towards Kongsberg) which takes about 23 minutes. On average one of these trains leaves from the airport about every 20 minutes and a regular ticket costs 114 NOK. The tickets for all the trains can easily be bought at the airport, or you can buy a ticket through the app Flytoget (for the express train) or Vy (for the regional trains).

Thon Hotel Opera is within walking distance from Oslo Sentralstasjon.

To get from Oslo Sentralstasjon to Thon Hotel Ullevaal Stadion we recommend taking he metro (Line 4 and 5, westward) from Jernbanetorget to Ullevål.

To get from Thon Hotel Opera to the university we recommend taking the metro (Line 4 and 5, westward) from Jernbanetorget to Blindern.

Thon Hotel Ullevaal Stadion is close to the university (about a 15 minutes walk), or you can take the metro (Line 4 and 5, eastward) one stop from Ullevål to Forskningsparken.

It is also possible to get from Jernbanetorget to the university by taking tram lines 17 and 18 (towards Rikshospitalet) to Universitetet Blindern.

To take the metro or tram you will need to buy a ticket through the app Ruter or get a travelling card (+50 NOK) at one of the kiosks Narvesen, 7-eleven, Deli de Luca and Mix. A regular ticket is 39 NOK, a daily ticket is 117 NOK, and a weekly ticket is 323 NOK.

Meals:

Breakfast is included at both hotels and is available from 06:30 - 09:30 on Monday to Friday and 07:00-10:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. It is possible to buy lunch at the university campus in one of our cafeterias (We recommend going to Frederikke Spiseri). There are several restaurants close to both hotels.
