Jacqueline M. Cofield co-authored the award-winning piece "Parenting as Political Acts of Love and Resistance" by utilizing a co/autoethnographic methodology alongside two fellow doctoral motherscholars to explore the intersection of mothering, politics, and education through their lived experiences.
Xiaoyi Wei authored the chapter "The evolution of an ethical toolkit: An emergent researcher's reflection," which uses a teacher-researcher framework grounded in the pedagogy of discomfort and the Theatre of the Oppressed to examine the complex ethical tensions and power dynamics surrounding young children's inclusion in online language learning.
