1. On the crucifix, begin with the sign of the cross. 

2. On the large bead make a spiritual communion as follows: 

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things. I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you, and I unite myself entirely to you, as if you had already come; do not permit me to be ever separated from you.

3. On each bead (33x): 

Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, have mercy on us. 

4. On the large bead again make an Act of Faith in the Eucharist: 

O my God, I firmly believe that You are really and corporally present in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar. I adore You here present from the depths of my heart, and I worship Your sacred Presence with all possible humility. O my soul, what joy to have Jesus Christ always with us, and to be able to speak to Him, heart to Heart, with all confidence. Grant, O Lord, that I, having adored Your Divine Majesty here on earth in this wonderful Sacrament, may be able to adore It eternally in heaven.

The three decades represent the thirty years of Christ's hidden life with Mary and Joseph in Nazareth. 

1. On the crucifix, begin with the sign of the cross. 

2. On the large bead, say the Apostles' Creed. 

3. On the large bead before each decade, say the Glory Be. 

(First decade: In honor of the love and obedience of Jesus to the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph. Second decade: In honor of the love of the Blessed Virgin Mary for Jesus and her loving obedience to St. Joseph. Third decade: In honor of the love and care of St. Joseph for Jesus and Mary and his perfect obedience to the Holy Will of God.) 

4. On each bead of the decade, pray the invocation: “Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I give you my heart and my soul.”

5. After each decade pray the invocation “Jesus, Mary, Joseph assist me in my last agony.” 

6. Conclusion: V. One thing I ask of the Lord this I seek: 

R. To dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. (Ps. 26:4) 

7. Let us pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, You sanctified home life with untold virtues by being subject to Mary and Joseph. May they assist us to imitate the example of Your Holy Family, so that we may share with them their eternal happiness, Who live and reign world without end. Amen.

   1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim, may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. 

   2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim, may the Lord vouchsafe to grant us grace to leave the ways of wickedness to run in the paths of Christian perfection. 

   3. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones, may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility. 

   4. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominions, may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and subdue our unruly passions. 

   5. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers, may the Lord vouchsafe to protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil. 

   6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues, may the Lord preserve us from evil and suffer us not to fall into temptation. 

   7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the Celestial Choir of Principalities, may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. 

   8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels, may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works, in order that we gain the glory of Paradise. 

   9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels, may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted hereafter to eternal glory. 

4. On the four beads below the medal: one Our Father each in honor of the archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, and our Guardian angel

5. Closing prayers: 

O glorious prince, St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King, and our admirable conductor, who shines with excellence and superhuman virtue, vouchsafe to deliver us form evil, who turn to you with confidence, and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day, amen.

Almighty and everlasting God, who by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel, St Michael, Prince of the Church, make us worthy, we beseech you, to be delivered from all our enemies that none of them may harass us at the hour of our death, but that we may be conducted by him into the august presence of your Divine Majesty. This we beg through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord, amen.
