Motherlight Project
From the Stillness of Paint to the Pulse of Everyday Life
My mother is a classically trained painter who’s never earned a cent from her art. For years, she painted quietly after work — investing in quality paints, canvases, and brushes she could barely afford, but never in promotion. She simply didn’t have the time or money to share her work while working full-time.
Her talent is undeniable, but her art sat unseen — not because it lacked heart, but because it lacked a way into the world.
She often asked me how to bring her work out there, and I made her a promise:
that I would try — for both of us.
This project is that promise. A way to honor her voice and give her what she’s never had: support, visibility, and the belief that her creativity belongs in homes, on walls, and woven into daily life.
If even one person chooses her art — as a print, a piece of clothing, a gift — it brings her closer to the dream of having her own studio. It says: your art matters. You are seen. Please, keep creating.
Let’s prove to her that it’s not too late — and that art like hers is priceless.
If you'd like to bring a piece of her art into your life — as a canvas print or wearable design — you're warmly invited to explore the collection ✨HERE✨.
If you’d like to support my mother directly — without purchasing anything
— you can show support ✨ HERE✨
Thank you for believing that art matters. 💜
🎨 This project lives in many places — prints, pins, tools & quiet legacy.
