Raison d'être

As a nature lover, I try to spend as much time as possible in the woods. As a biologist and educator, I have always felt that plants deserve to be in the spotlight and recognized as the living miracles that they are.

I hope that by showcasing the beauty and ever-changing nature of plant communities, these tiny worlds in glass will spark curiosity, fascination and a sense of appreciation in those that purchase them.

Then maybe by caring for their own microcosm, they will fall a little more in love with the big beautiful world outside their doors, becoming stewards of this planet that we call home.

Purchasing our terraria

Due to the delicate nature of terraria, we are unable to package them for shipping. Local purchases are all that are available for the time being.

As we do not have a storefront location, sales are carried out online or at local markets. Buyers can indicate which terrarium they hope to purchase, and pickup or delivery options can be discussed at that time. 

We are able to make deliveries in the Summerside and Charlottetown areas by appointment. 

Care directions are included with each purchase.
