A vibrant mix of applied ideas and research perspectives
MOSAIC is an applied math seminar aimed at connecting graduate students and postdocs across the Midwest. We emphasize collaborative growth, impactful research, and professional development in applied mathematics through building a community of interdisciplinary researchers. The aim is to allow early career researchers to share the work that they are doing, provide opportunity for questions and connections, and to spread knowledge as well as information about opportunities such as conferences within our region.
The seminar will be held every second Tuesday of each month from October to December and February to May. All talks will be over Zoom, begin at 3:00 PM Central Time, and will be around 30 minutes long with time for discussion afterwards. Visit the Talks page for the Zoom link and a list of upcoming and previous talks.
Contact us about any conferences/symposiums/events that may be of interest to any of our Midwestern colleagues.
