Morton Masonic Lodge #72 of Richmond, Texas is proud to announce that our  fundraising efforts within the community enables us to once again fund scholarship opportunities for deserving high school students of Lamar CISD and Needville High School. These scholarships are for the respective 2024 graduating classes and exclusively for individual students who plan to advance their education in a vocational certificate program (1 or 2-yr) or seeking an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree from an approved College or University program.  The scholarships will be awarded in the name of A.J. Ramos, a member of Morton Lodge #72 and the Masonic Fraternity.

Our fraternity is proud of its historic ties to the community and to the many contributions to education it has afforded its the citizens of our great state since the start of the Republic of Texas.  This tradition is alive and well in the present day. It is our honor to help those who desire to positively contribute to society with the tools which come from an advanced education.

Our Scholarship Committee will be in communication with all applicants in early May 2024.  The award-winning students will receive their award in a ceremony to be held at Morton Lodge #72 on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 (subject to change).
