I am a Research Fellow at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore, working on experimental quantum computing with trapped ions. My research focuses on scalable ion-trap hardware, laser systems, optical control, vacuum and cryogenic technologies, and ion–photon interfaces for quantum information processing.
I have a background in photonics, nanomaterials, and experimental quantum technologies, with research experience spanning integrated photonics, surface ion traps, laser development, and photovoltaic materials. My current work contributes to the development of trapped-ion quantum processors and enabling hardware for scalable quantum systems.
Research interests: trapped ions, quantum computing hardware, ion–photon interfaces, integrated photonics, laser systems, cryogenic and UHV technologies.
