Public Works will be giving new life to the Centennial Park arch bridge this summer with a new coat of paint.
Signs will be posted indicating wet paint when the work is complete.
You can now stop at City Hall and checkout pickleball paddles and net.
Thanks to the Morristown Fire Relief, the basketball court now has fresh new pavement and new striping to allow basketball and pickleball.
Offices will be closed on June 19th for Juneteenth, July 3rd to observe Independence Day, and September 7th to observe Labor Day.
The following streets have been approved for chip sealing in 2026. The timeline has not yet been determined, but signs will be posted a few days in advance to inform residents when and where no parking will be in effect.
After chip sealing is completed, excess rock will remain on the roadway for a period of time. The contractor will return later to sweep the streets and remove the leftover material.
As part of the same project as the new sidewalk by the Morristown Dam, the DNR is proposing to install ADA-compliant fishing piers along the river.
