November is two important holidays for all societies and countries. On November 16, we celebrated International Day of Tolerance, and November 21 is a Day of Kindness. Teachers and students participating in the Erasmus + project "More tolerance, less ignorance" organized a series of activities at school to promote acceptance and respect among our students. On Monday, November 18, we hosted representations of students from Zamość primary schools that took part in the Inter-school workshops on tolerance and empathy. The main effect of the students' cooperation and meeting with the psychologist was the development of the "Inter-School Code of Acceptance and Respect", which will be sent to all participating schools. In addition, our guests participated in integration games making them aware of how much we have in common, and minor differences should not give rise to conflicts. Then the students of our school participated in a happening promoting kindness and acceptance. The colorful procession went to the Old Town, where young people, together with a large group of students from SP in Płoski and their European guests from Erasmus +, participated in fun games, sang, spoke and shared joy with others.

The students understood that you have to talk "with yourself" and not "about yourself" and that everyone deserves respect, regardless of their skin color, origin, religion or different views. Each of us should be tolerant and respect that the words and behaviors of others may be different from ours. We also cannot accept everything uncritically or blindly follow others. We must be reasonable and just remember that everyone has the right to their own opinion.
