Kathy Kleiner Rubin

Kathy was a student and member of Chi Omega sorority at Florida State University when Bundy attacked her in her sleep. Her dorm room was decorated meticulously, and she and her roommate took great pride in it. After she recovered medically from the attack, she took a job at a lumber yard to overcome her fear of men. In her second job after the attack, as a bank teller, she was robbed at gunpoint and returned to work the next day after taking the afternoon off. Kathy's story is not one of violence but one of resilience, in which Bundy is only a peripheral character.

Cheryl thomas

Cheryl Thomas was also a a student at FSU and was bludgeoned on the same night as Kathy Kleiner. She was formerly a dance major, but was not able to keep up through her injuries. She later earned a BA in dance from another university and became a ballet teacher.

Carol daronch

Carol DaRonch was kidnapped by Bundy in 1974 and testified against him in 1976, determined to make him pay. He was convicted for aggravated kidnapping. Carol became an activist for victims and survivors like her, and now runs a social media page where she shares updates on murder cases and other instances of violence against women.
