The ceiling fan will be set in the down direction to provide additional cooling
Keep windows and doors closed to prevent the loss of cool air
Keep shades and curtains closed to remove direct sunlight from entering
There is a small personal fan in the closet
The ceiling fan will be set in the up direction to pull warm air from the ceiling. Because of the high ceiling, warm air can get trapped. Keeping the ceiling fan on low will keep the warm air circulating.

There is an extra comforter in the cabinet
There is a space heater in the closet.
