MopBook Privacy Policy

MopBook is a cleaning schedule, client management, accounting and invoice app for self-employed cleaners and small cleaning businesses.

This Privacy Policy explains what data MopBook collects, how it is used, and how users can request deletion of their account and data.

1. Data we collect

MopBook may collect and store the following user data:

Personal information:

• Name

• Email address

• User ID

• Address

• Phone number

Financial and business information:

• Subscription or purchase status

• Income, expenses, invoice amounts and other accounting information entered by the user

Photos:

• Optional profile photo, if the user chooses to add one

User-created content:

• Clients

• Appointments

• Notes

• Work records

• Invoice records

• Settings and other information entered by the user

2. How we use the data

We use this data to provide MopBook’s core app functions, including:

• Account registration and login

• Client management

• Scheduling and appointment tracking

• Accounting and finance records

• Invoice creation

• Cloud backup and restore

• Subscription access management

• User profile and app settings

We do not use this data for advertising or marketing.

3. Data sharing

MopBook does not sell user data.

User data may be processed by service providers needed to operate the app, including:

• Supabase, for authentication, account handling and cloud backup

• Google Play, for subscription and billing management

Payment card details are handled by Google Play. MopBook does not store users’ payment card details.

4. Cloud backup

MopBook is designed as a local-first app. User data is primarily stored on the user’s device.

If the user chooses to use cloud backup or restore, selected app data may be stored securely using Supabase.

5. Data security

Data sent between the app and cloud services is transmitted using encrypted connections.

6. Account and data deletion

Users can request deletion of their MopBook account and associated cloud data.

To delete your account in the app:

1. Open the MopBook app.

2. Go to Profile.

3. Open Danger zone.

4. Tap Delete account.

5. Confirm the deletion.

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:

Please include the email address used for your MopBook account.

Account and cloud data deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days.

Some data stored only locally on the user’s device may need to be deleted by uninstalling the app or using the in-app local data deletion option.
