Occasion
Preferred genres
Year preferences
Age rating
Language and country
Excluded movie IDs

Additionally, we may store the following data in Core Data:

likedMovies
watchedMovies

This data is stored locally on the device. If iCloud sync is enabled by the user, it is securely synchronized to the user’s private iCloud container. Otherwise, it remains stored locally and is never shared.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information solely to:

Generate personalized movie recommendations
Improve and optimize the performance of the App

3. Data Storage and Sync

Recommendation input is sent anonymously and not linked to any identity.
likedMovies and watchedMovies are stored in Core Data.
If iCloud sync is enabled, these are synced to the user’s private iCloud container.
No data is ever linked to your identity or shared externally.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
We do not share user data with third parties, except as required to operate the App securely and in compliance with applicable laws.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not collect identifiable information:

You control your data through the App and iCloud settings
You may delete or reset your data at any time

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted in the App with the updated effective date.
