Troop Recharter is approaching, and there are new fee structures at the National and Last Frontier Council (LFC) levels (See the infographic below). The fees cover Scout's BSA membership only, not Troop expenses or camping fees. 

These fees must be on LFC subscription or paid in full by the Recharter due date. 

Troop Expenses and Dues

Our By-laws designate that $8 a month be collected for each youth participant.  In the interest of helping with the cost of scouting, Troop 75 has not collected Troop dues since June 2020 because of generous donations to our program. 

Those donations have paid for Court of Honor awards, General operating expenses, recharter for scouts in need, Summer Camp Scholarships, and 50% of National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) registration over the last three years. We are at a point where these donations have been depleted, and current fundraising has not met the general operating expenses of the Troop. 

In 2024, we will review options to cover Troop costs to prevent bringing back monthly dues, but it appears to be unavoidable at the current moment.
