The effect of cancer-adipose interaction in human breast cancer
The degree of human breast cancer contacting neighboring adipose tissue was evaluated in pathologic specimens of breast cancers. Interestingly, we observed a significant lower rate of cancer cell mitosis when the tumor cells were having direct contact with the surrounding adipose tissues.
