Rent a scope..

In the near future, it is planned to launch the system, allowing those interested in observations from this place to purchase observing time and/or ordering data collected with telescopes from the Moonbase South Observatory scopes.

The Celestron C14 scope (i.e. 355 mm SCT with a focal length of 2590 mm, f/7.3) offers a few applications, such as photometric observations using BVRI Kron-Cousins and g´-sloan filters. C14 is perfect for astrometric and low-resolution spectroscopic observations (Star Analyzer 200). Color photography is possible thanks to the use of LRGB filters, and finally narrowband photography using Ha, SiII, OIII filters. ASI294 MM Pro CMOS camera from ZWO is just great for this kind of work!

The Celestron C11 scope (i.e. 280 mm SCT with a focal length of 540 mm, f/1.9) offers a large field of view - approx. 3.5 x 2.5 degrees - using ZWO ASI6200 MM CMOS camera - is best suited for sky surveys, but also for b/w imaging of the sky..
