Though it is usually referred to as the Supreme Court, its correct name is the High Court. It is a court of unlimited jurisdiction on the Island of Montserrat. This court is located on the Government of Montserrat Headquarters premises in Brades.

One High Court Judge is shared between Antigua and Montserrat. The Judge sits in Montserrat at least three times a year in both the civil and criminal jurisdictions.

The Registrar is the Administrative head of the Court in Montserrat and the Accounting Officer of the Department.
