Q: Is MonteMath free?
A: MonteMath includes two free activities (Number Rods and Sandpaper Numbers) that are free forever. A subscription unlocks all 16 Montessori math activities and the full curriculum.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find MonteMath and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Q: How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
A: Open MonteMath and tap any locked activity. On the subscription screen, tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription is linked to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.
Q: Does MonteMath collect any data from my child?
A: No. MonteMath does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All progress and profile information is stored locally on your device and is never shared with anyone.
Q: Does MonteMath require an internet connection?
A: No. All activities work completely offline. An internet connection is only needed when purchasing or restoring a subscription.
Q: What ages is MonteMath designed for?
A: MonteMath is designed for children ages 2 to 7. The app supports three age brackets (Toddler, Pre-K, and Kinder+) and adjusts difficulty, voice guidance, and session length accordingly.
Q: Can I create multiple profiles for my children?
A: Yes. MonteMath supports up to 4 child profiles, each with independent progress tracking. You can manage profiles from the Parent Dashboard.
Q: How do I access the Parent Dashboard?
A: Tap the profile icon in the top-left corner of the shelf screen. You will be asked to solve a simple math problem to verify that you are an adult. This parent gate keeps children from accessing settings or purchase options.
Q: How does the Screen Time Guardian work?
A: MonteMath includes built-in screen time management that sets age-appropriate session limits. When the time limit is reached, a gentle break screen appears. If your child is deeply engaged and performing well, the app may extend the session slightly before prompting a break.
Q: What Montessori curriculum does MonteMath follow?
A: MonteMath covers the five key areas of the Montessori math curriculum: Number Recognition, Counting and Quantity, Decimal System and Place Value, Operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication), and Number Patterns and Sequencing. All 16 activities are based on real materials used in Montessori classrooms worldwide.
Q: My subscription is not working. What should I do?
A: First, try tapping Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. If that does not resolve the issue, make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase the subscription. If the problem persists, please contact us at pradeep.aneesh@gmail.com with your Apple ID email and a description of the issue.
Q: How do I delete my child's profile and data?
A: Open the Parent Dashboard, scroll to the Profiles section, and swipe left on the profile you want to remove. Tap Delete to confirm. All progress data for that profile will be permanently removed. Since no data leaves your device, there is no server-side data to delete.
