MonteMath is committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. This Privacy Policy explains how MonteMath handles information when you use our app. MonteMath is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information We Collect
MonteMath does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information from children or adults. The app operates entirely offline on your device.
Specifically:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information
- We do not collect photos, videos, or audio recordings
- We do not collect location data
- We do not collect device identifiers or usage analytics
- We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
- We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising frameworks
Data Stored on Your Device
MonteMath stores the following data locally on your device to provide app functionality:
- Child profile names and age brackets (entered by the parent)
- Activity progress and session history
- App settings and preferences
This data is stored using Apple's on-device storage (UserDefaults) and never leaves your device. This data is not accessible to MonteMath or any third party. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.
Third-Party Services
MonteMath does not integrate any third-party services for analytics, advertising, or data collection. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit framework for processing in-app subscription purchases. Subscription transactions are handled entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/privacy/).
Children's Privacy (COPPA and GDPR-K Compliance)
MonteMath is designed for children ages 2 to 7 and is listed in the Kids category on the App Store. We comply with the following:
- We do not collect personal information from children
- We do not display advertisements of any kind
- We do not include links to external websites accessible by children
- All parent-facing features (dashboard, settings, subscription management) are protected by a parent gate
- No account creation is required to use the app
- No internet connection is required to use the app
In-App Purchases
MonteMath offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock the full curriculum. All purchase transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. MonteMath does not receive or store any payment information including credit card numbers or billing addresses. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID account settings.
Data Security
Since MonteMath does not collect or transmit any data, there is no risk of data breach or unauthorized access to personal information through our servers. All app data resides solely on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
