I am Assistant Professor of Strategic and International Management at the University of St.Gallen, Institute of Management & Strategy.
Taking roots in the fields of strategy and organization theory, my research focuses on how the cognitive and social character of categorization decisions affect firm- and market-level outcomes such as competition, entry, and performance returns.
I received my PhD in Management from Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano, Switzerland). During my doctoral training, I have been a visiting researcher at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, USA). Prior to my appointment at the University of St.Gallen, I have been a faculty member of IE Business School (Madrid, Spain), where I have gained substantial research and teaching experience.
