The overall experience of playing Monster Carnival will vary from player to player, but it generally tends to be an engaging and enjoyable experience for fans of MMORPGs. It features a wide variety of unique monsters and a fast-paced battle system. However, some players might find the game grind-heavy, requiring a lot of time and effort to level up their monsters and progress through the game.

Does anyone play Monster Carnival on here? I always wanna play for the nostalgia but there never seems to be a room open.. I have very vivid memories from my childhood of the original monster Carnival on regular MapleStory. Missing school because of too much snow and being home and playing monster Carnival with friends. So much nostalgia ? Anyway... If anyone wants to play that with me sometime to relive that nostalgia let me know.... Thanks!

In terms of design, I like how they genuinely look like childhood monsters. They really seem like creatures a toddler would draw or imagine up. They seem like those furry mix-and-match monsters children would see under their beds or in their closets, and that really gives them a sort of childish charm.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE MONSTER IN THE WHOLE ISLAND. I just love this guy. Originally the carny who runs the duck fishing game, you first meet this guy when he crawls out of the inflatable duck pool (which is clearly bigger on the inside, TARDIS-style) to freak you out. And this monster is the most original fish monster I have ever seen.

The strongwoman who runs the Test Your Strength game gets turned into this and although the pool monster is my favorite monster design, this one comes a close second. Just LOOK AT HER! I expected the strongwoman to turn into some kind of giant muscular ogre or something but this is so much better.

Oh geez. This guy is TERRIFYING. Before his transformation, this floating puppet monster was the guy who ran the Tunnel of Love ride. Since then, he had taken up residence in the Haunted Lab, popping out of doors and freaking you out.

I always bring 5 or 6 of the 15 oz monsters in my carry on....they usually check my bag to make sure they're not beer but have not had them say anything or take them. Long Beach and Seattle are my ports.

I think most of the employees at the ports (I know at least this is the case in San Juan) aren't carnival employees. They also might have multiple different cruise lines at the same port which could make it hard for the employees to remember which cruise lines have which rules.

As soon as you come down from the blimp, go all the way right, where the sign says Carnival. You will meet a young boy named Edgar, a carnie in training. Edgar will ask you to come and help him with the carnival. It's Poptropica, so of course we say yes. Head right to the carnival. Head right, and you will see a man with a tooth sticking out, standing next to a duck game. Talk to him. You will need to get him a hose. Head right again and you will see a woman in front of the Fried Dough stand. Talk to her, and she will ask you to bring her some powdered sugar. She gives you a formula to go make it.

When you walk in, ask for a radiator hose. The woman will give you one, since a motorcyclist without a radiator hose is apparently an emergency. Climb up a shelf right to the right, and there will be a hose up top. Grab it. Then, exit the auto dealership and head back to the carnival.

Use the hose, and your avatar will automatically attach it to a faucet, and into the pool, where it will fill up with water. Then, head right, and give the woman the sugar. She then will give you some Fried Dough. It will come in handy late. Now, head all the way right to the carnival rides. Talk to the guy with the sunglasses by the Ferris wheel. He needs a new lever to stop the Ferris wheel from going too fast. So, head right until you get into the woods. There, you will find a lever on the ground. Pick it up, and head back to the man by the Ferris wheel. Give it to him, and the wheel will slow down. Now, go left to the next scene, where Edgar will congratulate you for helping the carnival.

It will be evening then. Walk right to the Pop The Balloon game. Talk to the little boy. He will give you a blunted dart. Head left to Honest Gabe's. Once you enter, to the right there will be a metal sharpener. Use it to sharpen the dart. Go back to the carnival, and use the dart on the Pop The Balloon Game. When you win, Edgar says the teddy bears are only for display, so instead, he will give you a cup. Now, head up past the mirror maze, and to the Weight Guessing Game. Click on the man, and he will correctly guess your weight! Now you need something to fool him. Head to the Apothecary. Ask the man behind the counter for something to fool the guesser. He will say you are welcome to whatever you can find.

Go left, back to the carnival. Edgar will tell you that his friends have all turned into monsters, and that you need to find Ringmaster Raven for help. Go left, dodging the monsters, and enter Ringmaster Raven's Circus of the Bizarre tent. Ringmaster Raven will tell you that there's a way to change the monsters back, a chemical formula in the hands of the man who runs the Ferris wheel. When you go to the Ferris wheel, though, the gremlin the man turned into is moving too fast to catch! Jump on the Ferris wheel, equip the hammer, and press spacebar to use it. The carnie will fall down and you will get a secret message.

Head left to the duck game. On your way, you'll pass the Fried Dough woman's monster form, a gelatinous blob. She's harmless, and if you click on her, she'll give you a big smile. Use the black light, equip the flashlight, and play the game. Catch the ducks in this order: Green, Orange, Red, Yellow. Now you have the chemical formula. Unfortunately, the apothecary is closed.

Exit the vents and choose the three chemicals you haven't used yet. They're all together. Perform the same reaction as before, and you'll get sodium thiopental. Go back to Ringmaster Raven's tent. Edgar is hypnotized, and he will kidnap you and put you in a machine to turn you into a monster, too! But all hope is not lost. Use the Fried Dough to bring back his memories, and he'll help you chase Ringmaster Raven to the Mirror Maze.

Multiple times it had thought to be returning. Sneak peeks of monster-related islands were posted on the Daily Pop, but they turned out to be sneak peeks for Cryptids Island and Zomberry Island. When a sneak peek of what seemed to be a carnival appeared, some people assumed that it was for Monster Carnival Island. However, it was meant for the Carnival Costumes store on Night Watch Island. There are four monster costumes currently in the store that resemble the previously leaked costumes. On the Creator's blog, a post by Captain Crawfish revealed notes for a "Haunted Amusement Park Island," supposedly an early name for Monster Carnival Island. At the end of the blog post, Captain Crawfish quotes: "You never know, I guess.," hinting at its return. A piece of paper in the trash can of Mocktropica Island had the words "Monster Carnival NOPE" on it.

On the Poptropica Creators' Blog, Captain Crawfish announced that Monster Carnival Island would return in February 2014, with all new features and members' only items soon to be released. The teaser trailer only revealed a picture of a mysterious ringmaster-like Poptropican with a black bird mask and red monster eyes.

A couple years ago, Monster Carnival Island got deleted FOR A SECOND TIME. According to the Poptropica Creators blog, it doesn't seem like their first old island on their list to remake. Information on when it will come out is not yet to the light, however we can hope that it someday will, because nothing can ever replace Monster Carnival. After doing a bit of digging, it has become apparent that the official Poptropica Store is selling monster carnival merch, which could possibly mean that it might be one of the first of the old islands to come back.

Go back at the carnival on the weight guessing game. Talk to that carnie once again, and he will guess your weight wrong! You will get a bouncy ball as a reward. Go over to your left on the carnival rides, and you will see a game called Test Your Strength. Use the bouncy ball, and then the game will look like this:

Go to the carousel and use the hammer to knock down that monster that has a secret message for the formula. Now go over to the haunted lab to get a blacklight. The blacklight is in the haunted lab on the top floor.

When you make the formula go back to the ringmaster. Oh no! The ringmaster is the one that made the carnies monsters! He just hypnotyzed Edgar! And now Edgar wants to hypnotize YOU! Quickly open your inventory and use the fried dough! The hypnotizing spell is over to Edgar, because of the smell of that fried dough!

Make the formula, (Chemical X), and go to that broken rollercoaster. The old man will drink it, and he will become even more of a monster! But people like him that way too! So he is fine, and the bonus quest is over! Yeah! And as a reward you get is Chemical X, so you can become a monster too! e24fc04721
