The team wins a round if the team members have more wins than losses.
A team then scores:
2 pts for a team win
1 pt for a team draw
0pts for a team loss
Teams will be matched from round 2 onwards using a "swiss" pairing system, using "monrad" logic.
Therefore, most often, 1st Place will be playing 2nd Place. 3rd Will play 4th. etc.
Teams on the same points during the tournament and for final standings will be ranked using this system.
Ties will be split by the following, in the following order:
1. Strength of schedule (BHZ)
2. Best defence (least conceded touchdowns)
Monkeybowl will use the following rules documents. Coaches are expected to be familiar with them:
● Blood Bowl Season 3 Rulebook. All games will be played using the rules as written in the Season 3 rulebook, unless stated otherwise in this pack.
● NAF Recommendations and Clarifications for BB2025 These will be used for clarifications.
https://www.thenaf.net/naf-recommendations-and-clarifications-for-bb2025/
● Warhammer Community – Blood Bowl Designer’s Commentary and FAQ The latest official FAQ and errata will apply.

If anything comes up that isn’t covered clearly by the documents above, the organiser will make a ruling on the day, with the aim of keeping the event running smoothly and fairly for everyone.
The default expectation is that models will be laid down when they are knocked down, and either turned over to show they are stunned or clearly marked with an appropriate marker. If both coaches agree on an alternative method, that’s absolutely fine — just make sure everything on the pitch is clear to both players.
Be respectful to your opponent, your team, the tournament staff, and the venue. Good sportsmanship is expected at all times
