"Fire and Water," created with Jolene Armstrong, was exhibited at ELO 2025 in Toronto. The diptych features my projector work of kinetic poetry created with a Markov Generator of the New York Times live feed of the Palisades Fire with watercolors of a startling video that circulated on social media of the fire. What isn't burning in a world on fire is flooding. Armstrong's stunning sculpture of water resting on an encyclopedia entry open to an entry on erosion. Together these works comment on the climate crisis, disaster media, and thirsty AIs.
