First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my parents and siblings, whose unwavering support and love have brought me to where I am today. Without their encouragement and sacrifices, none of this would have been possible.
I also want to pay tribute to my school teacher, Md. Salah Uddin Suman, whose passion for science ignited my curiosity and laid the foundation of my academic journey. His belief in my potential inspired me to pursue knowledge with vigor.
One of the most influential figures in my life has been Shuisau Marma, the Food Officer, whose guidance and mentorship have shaped my personal and professional life. His invaluable advice and support have helped me navigate life's challenges and stay focused on my goals.
In my university life, I have been fortunate to have many exceptional teachers who have quenched my thirst for knowledge. Among them, I would like to particularly acknowledge Dr. Md. Abdulla Al-Mamun, Associate Professor at ILET, my supervisor, whose guidance has been instrumental in my research journey. Alongside him, Md. Rayhan Sarker, a PhD student at Texas State University and Assistant Professor at ILET, has provided crucial insights and advice that have helped me move forward in my academic endeavors.
Another important figure in my research journey is Umme Habiba Bodrun Naher, Associate Professor at ILET. Her belief in my research potential has motivated me to refine my skills and expand my knowledge in the field of Environmental Engineering.
In my professional life, I am incredibly fortunate to work with mentors who continue to shape my career. Dr. Md. Sarwar Morshed, Professor and Project Leader at MPE, AUST, Dr. Abu Hamja, Assistant Professor and Deputy Project Leader at MPE, AUST, Dr. Dewan Ahsan, Professor and Project Coordinator, University of Southern Denmark, and Dr. Jan Vang, Professor and Researcher, University of Southern Denmark, have provided invaluable industrial knowledge and guidance. Their mentorship is helping me contribute to the transformation of the leather industry toward sustainability through intensive research.
I am deeply grateful to all these individuals, whose influence has been essential in both my personal and professional growth. Their encouragement and guidance continue to inspire me as I move forward in my career, striving to make a positive impact on the world.
