Kradin writes in his book: "After our studies, the wall attracted the interest of our Israeli colleagues. In 2018–19, a joint Mongolian-Israeli expedition headed by G. Shelach examined the wall in Mongolia and prepared a report about their studies (Shelach et al. 2019). Finally, in 2019, as part of the mega-grant “Dynamics of Peoples and Cultures of Inner Asia,” we made an expedition to verify some data and started to write this book."
