"There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't."
- John Green
"God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
- Hebrews 6:18-19
My passion in life is to devote myself to helping people with mental illness—especially veterans and victims of childhood maltreatment. My psychology studies have not only given me insight into how my own childhood trauma has shaped me, but also strengthened my coping skills, resilience, and ability to set healthy boundaries. As an Investigative–Social personality type with strong Artistic and Conventional traits, I thrive at the intersection of problem-solving, helping others, creativity, and structure. My career as a crime analyst, my graduate training in clinical mental health counseling, and my ministry leadership reflect this balance. My Asperger’s contributes unique strengths in attention to detail, persistence, authenticity, and empathy—qualities that enhance both my analytical work and my ability to support others with compassion. Having also spent much of my adult career as a 911 operator, I bring the ability to perform under pressure, strong empathy, and advanced emotional intelligence to every professional environment. Rooted in values of helping people, integrity, growth, and community, my passion is to be a light of hope for those who feel lost in the darkness of mental illness.
