Monart drawing & mixed media day camps are a great way for kids ages 6-8 & 9-12 to get creative over summer break! Kids will learn how to draw realistically through several summer-themed art projects, exploring a variety of subjects and working with various art materials.

SENIOR CAMP: AGES 9-12 / 9AM-12PM / MONDAY-FRIDAY / $300 per week
A 3-hour (per day) art camp designed to challenge this age group and help bring them to a new drawing skill level. These camps will incorporate a variety of drawing techniques and art mediums.

JUNIOR CAMP: AGES 6-8 / 1PM-3PM / MONDAY-FRIDAY / $200 per week
A 2-hour (per day) art camp where students will learn drawing fundamentals and explore a variety of art materials. A perfect environment for little artists to develop confidence, focus and fine-motor skills.

WEEK 1: JUNE 01 - JUNE 05
"MIXED MEDIA WORKSHOP"

Let's make dazzling works of art by combining different mediums! Watercolor & Rock Salt! Ink & Acrylic! Clippings, Collage, Mosaic, Paper Mache, Stamping. See them all come together to create artwork with vibrant color & texture!

WEEK 2: JUNE 08 - JUNE 12
"EXOTIC & Endangered ANIMALS"

We'll explore a variety of wild, exotic and endangered animals in their natural habitats using graphic markers, oil pastels, colored pencils, and more! We'll also learn several fun & exciting facts about these animals as we draw & paint!

"WONDERS OF THE OCEAN"

An aquatic adventure where we explore the depths of the ocean through drawing! We will focus ocean habitats and the amazing creatures that live there. A variety of art mediums will be used.

"COMICS & CARTOONS"

From Disney to classic comic strips to our favorite Saturday cartoons, we'll learn all about cartoon style and promotion! We'll look at movies, shows and comic books as inspiration, as we learn how to create our own background paintings and animation cels by hand.

"NEON BLACK LIGHT ART"

Give your art a glow-up, using neon paint, pastels, pencils & stickers to create dazzling pieces that glow under a black light. At the end of the week, we'll enjoy a black light art show, guaranteed to wow your friends and family!

Let's journey to far away lands, on an artistic voyage of discovery across the globe! Painted Indian Elephants, Ancient Chinese Calligraphy, Mexican Bark Painting, African Tribal Masks, Famous Monuments and more! We'll discover a bit of art history, cultural facts and techniques along the way, as we create cultural arts & crafts and enjoy videos & music from each culture being studied.

WEEK 9: JULY 27 - JULY 31
"ANIME & GAME ART FOR KIDS"

Studio Ghibli, Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Mario & Sonic... Anime and game art have taken the world by storm, and this camp is a great opportunity for kids to learn all about how to draw in this signature style. From crazy spiked hairdos to oversized & expressive eyes, we'll cover all the basics and even have you drawing your own anime-style self-portrait!

CARD PAYMENTS WILL BE PROCESSED ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF EACH CAMP.
CANCELLATIONS MUST BE REQUESTED NO LESS THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE START OF EACH CAMP.

NO NEED TO SHOW UP TOO EARLY: Arrive approx. 5-10 minutes before your child’s camp starts and have them use the restroom and wash up before camp.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING THEIR OWN WATER AND SNACK, TO BE PLACED IN A CUBBY: Students are not allowed to share snacks or use public drinking fountains or office water coolers.
