The Alumni Emergency Stipend is designed to help when you face unexpected expenses.
The amount will be based on need. You may be given a lesser amount, or not receive a stipend at all. Stipends are provided on an emergency, case-by-case basis as determined by need and the availability of funding. Stipend awards are not automatic or guaranteed.

Rental Assistance Stipend
The Rental Assistance is designed to help when you face unexpected expenses regarding paying your rent.
Completing this application is not guarantee and follow up questions may be asked from Ms. Ale or Ms. Zaphire.
This is a one time request and the maximum you can receive is $500
You will be asked to provide certain documents such a W-9 or access to your housing portal.

Free, 24/7, confidential phone service that provides information and referrals to community, health, utility assistance and disaster resources in San Diego.
Your Safe Place
Free confidential services to anyone who has experienced domestic violence, family violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, or sex trafficking. Protects clients by obtaining Domestic Violence and Gun Violence Restraining Orders to remove firearms from dangerous situations.

Their mission is to bridge the gap for families who might not qualify for traditional assistance but still need support to provide nutritious food for their loved ones.
They can provide housing support, mental health services, and workforce development opportunities for youth.
Services will vary depending on age!
With two mobile 4-stall shower trailers, they provide hundreds of hot showers to guests each week at locations throughout San Diego County. As they form relationships with those they serve, they hope to connect them to one of their centers for temporary or long-term shelter and provide referrals to other services.
Tax season is here and there are many filing options available!
Many organizations have IRS-certified volunteers to provide free tax preparation and support to those who qualify. Whether you need help filing your return or have questions about your taxes, their volunteers are there to help. Visit their websites to set up an appointment.
Logan Heights CDC is offering free tax prep services for those with a gross income under $67,000. Our tax assistance is available every Monday from 9 AM to 3 PM, but appointments are required!
