Clean Energy Team of MPA

Mission: We are a not-for-profit grassroots group of residents, businesses, and leaders from education, faith, nonprofit and other sectors of Keene and neighboring communities who support making energy efficiency and renewable energy options accessible for all. The Clean Energy Team of the Monadnock Progressive Alliance connects with a range of local, regional and state allies to promote the transformation to energy efficiency and renewable energy. We identify critical opportunities and take actions to catalyze the transformation to a clean energy society.

High Priority

Support the development of a city-wide Sustainable Energy Plan to meet the 100% Renewable Energy Goals adopted by the Keene City Council. Keene’s Energy and Climate Committee is partnering with the Clean Energy Team and other volunteers to get the word out and engage Keene’s resident and business communities. From conducting interviews and focus groups with stakeholders, to engaging residents and allies at community events, our goal is to hear from everyone and include their ideas and perspective.
