My Perspective on Artificial Intelligence in Architecture

I believe that artificial intelligence represents a significant step in the evolution of architectural practice. It has the potential to improve efficiency, accelerate exploration, and support designers in transforming ideas into visual and analytical outcomes.

However, I also believe that architecture is fundamentally a human discipline. Buildings are not created merely to solve technical problems; they are designed to shape experiences, express culture, and respond to human needs. These qualities emerge from human understanding rather than computational processes.

For this reason, I view AI as a partner rather than a substitute. The architect remains responsible for vision, judgment, and ethical decision-making, while technology serves as a tool that enhances the creative journey. In the future, the most meaningful architecture will come from the collaboration between human imagination and technological innovation.
