Letter from The Secretary General
To delegates and staff advisors,
My name is Malak Abdrabo, Co-Secretary General and grade 12 student at Monarch Park Collegiate Institute. I first started MUN in 2020 and attended UTMUN 2020 as my first-ever conference before it all went online. I had an amazing time, learned so many new things, and met wonderful people. That is when I realized that mun truly is fun.
This conference has been years in the making with countless of our team here at MPC working diligently on bringing you an unforgettably amazing conference. After our cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have come back stronger than ever this year.
From the Secretariats working around the clock to the Directors writing phenomenal background guides to the Crisis team brainstorming fun crisis arcs to our Faculty Advisor dealing with my emails at odd hours, we have all been tirelessly grinding for this conference to be incredible. I am so proud of and grateful to every individual who has contributed to this conference, years ago and today.
I can take pride in what we have built and what this conference will be, so I implore you to see for yourself what we have in store. See you all on May 27th!
-Malak Abdrabo, Co-Secretary General
