Diana is currently economist and project manager with IDIS ”Viitorul” being specialized in public procurement, budgetary transparency, good governance, integrity and anti-corruption. Diana became a member of the Moldova OGP Multi- stakeholders Forum / Coordination Committee în 2018 contributing to the development of the National Action Plan on Open Government for the years 2019 - 2020. Previously she was actively involved in the co-creation process of the National Action Plan for the years 2016 - 2017.
Over the last 7 years Diana contributed to the implementation of over 15 projects within IDIS „Viitorul” focused on integrity and transparency in public procurement; transparency of the local public authorities; providing support and expertise to local organizations on monitoring local budgets, procurement and public contracts, public property, etc. Diana has also provided consultancy and expertise for other CSOs, government institutions, as well as international organizations, such as UNDP, the World Bank, OECD / SIGMA, EBRD. Diana is the author / co-author of more than 30 publications , including policy papers, policy recommendations, studies, analyses, monitoring / evaluation reports, confidence indices, etc.
She is currently coordinating a project focused on Increasing the integrity in public procurement implemented jointly with the Partnership for Transparency Fund aimed at supporting procurement reforms in Moldova. Diana is working on designing of a tailored Training Program for civil society and journalist across the country on monitoring procurement while supporting authorities in streamlining the procurement process and obtain more value for public money.
Diana holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and a MBA from the Moldova State University. Diana is certified on anti-corruption within „Islands of Integrity”, after completing an one-year international Anti-corruption training Program during 2015 - 2016 implemented by UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub and FPDL. She is native Romanian language speaker, fluent in English and Italian, intermediate in Russian and French.
